On this page, you'll find all sorts of projects I've done that I'm particularly proud of. If you're interested in engaging me to do work of this sort, please feel free to contact me. I'd love to chat!
I've divided the page into different sorts of projects: Stop Motion, Documentaries, Trailers, and Animation.
Stop Motion Work
One of the biggest (and neatest) projects I've done was the creation of a Lego stop-motion video for a religious conference. In it, a little Lego Druid goes about the process of doing a ritual to honor the Spirits. The voiceover is mine.
For this video, I used a phone app called "Stop Motion," and then put the title cards and did final editing with Adobe Premiere.
Documentary Work
Working on my filmmaking skills, I decided to ask a bunch of kids what they knew about fairies. This turned out to be an excellent, fun project.
This project involved filming on my phone, and using Adobe Rush to create the documentary. Rush was still in its early stage of development when I created this video, so it wasn't a very feature-rich environment to work in, but I was intent on learning the product, so I used it. The final version of the mini-documentary can be found here:
A Trailer for my Church
One of the things about churches is that they don't get a lot of love from the movie trailer side of things: most people find churches either stodgy, or too forward. So we decided to make something that showed off our joy and work, invited people in, and didn't get too pushy.
My co-priest, Rev. Avende, provided half the voiceover, and we did what we could to show diversity in our work. It turned out to be kind of fun!
